The Station Henley-in-Arden

Overview

Witness the transformation of our station

Witness the transformation of our station through captivating before and during renovation photos. In 2019, a group of passionate residents from Henley in Arden adopted the platforms at our local railway station. Throughout lockdown, our tireless efforts revitalised the station with new flower beds, planters, and vibrant artwork.

Our Story

The station building houses our very own microbrewery

This grassroots movement evolved into the formation of our CIC, culminating in the lease agreement for the station building signed in January 2023. Thanks to funding from WMT (CCIF) Fund, the Railway Heritage Trust, and the generous support of our patron Lord Digby Jones of Birmingham, our vision became a reality.

With a commitment to local craftsmanship, all work was completed by suppliers, tradespeople, and volunteers from the community. Today, the station building houses our very own microbrewery, operated by local residents. You can savor our brews at the community bar within the station lounge, alongside local wines, beers, soft drinks, and snacks, all while basking in the warmth of the log-burning fire.
